As part of a commitment to accelerate baseball development in Turkey, GSP Coach Brad Mayes handmade a portable mound to serve and train local athletes, as well as those interested in learning the art of pitching. Its unique portability will allow the mound to move easily around its home in Bandirma and into the local community, where it can conveniently and effectively perform training sessions on-the-go. Though the mound is the first of its kind in the area, there are ongoing plans to build several more to serve even more athletes and increase the scope of available baseball training across Turkey.
